(R)-2-Methylundecanal
- similar to its enantomer in description and
intensity; the racemate is describe as having a
dry, slight fruity odor reminiscent of ambergris
and incense with floral waxy notes (Givaudan)
and a strong "fatty, green, citrus odor with
fatty citrus taste" (Leffingwell, Flavor-Base
2007)
